25 things you may not know about me

1. I hate being late. Typically I am 15 minutes early to everything.

2. I honestly do not know my natural hair color.

3. I always have to have my nails painted.

4. My day will be ruined if Alabama looses a football game.

5. My favorite food is jalapeno chips. I can eat bags at a time.

6. I love classic rock music.

7. I have to have a huge purse.

8. My ideal outfit is a long t-shirt and leggings. Ah...comfort. And depending on the weather Uggs or flip flops.

9. I don't like girly movies, mostly because I hate to cry.

10. I need at least 2 caramel macchiatos a week. I think I might have a problem.

11. My favorite store is Anthropologie. House stuff and clothes, but of course it is way out of my price range, but it gives me great inspiration.

12. I can't sleep past 9:00 anymore.

13. I love the smell of pickles but hate the taste.

14. I use to wear a size 5 shoe and after my 2 kids I now wear a 6 and a half to a 7. Pretty strange.

19. I decided I wanted to name my daughter Adaline (Addie for short) after I saw the cutest little girl I had ever seen in a toy store with that name. I was about 13 when I decided this. And the funny thing is she kinda looks like Addie Jane.

24. My "little" brother is way over a foot taller than I am. It's crap!

25. I have the best family in this world. Although most of you already knew that ;)

Seriously..... 11 months?

I know as sad as it for me to say Jack is 11 months. I mean really? Anyways I have so much to write about regarding Jack and Addie Jane but our Internet is not working right now, but it will be up and running very soon. I want to upload new pictures and my favorite things this week, living room ideas, etc. So in the mean time I am at work Shh! and having to use tthis computer.

Jack, you are one little monkey. Walking, fast may I add, everywhere. Looking like a little preschooler, and smiling 90% of the time. You can say a few words like mama, dada, baba, bye, hi, all the basics. You know to put your hands way up in the air when we say ROLL TIDE! You get so excited because you know someday you will play for Alabama ;). Thank you little nugget for finally sleeping through the night. It only took a good 10 and half months ha! You still have little football shaped feet and can barely wear shoes. You are too cute for words, looking at you makes me smile, even you are being mean. You have gorgeous brown eyes and long eyelashes, Daddy is convinced you are going to be quite the ladies man, and I just don't even want to think about that right now. You eat pretty much everything, but your favorites are green beans, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, watermelon, pineapple, and sweet potato fries. You are taking 3 bottles a day; morning nap, afternoon "nap" (that never really happens), and night time. You are in the process of switching to sippy cups and doing quite well, I am very proud. I bought a sippy cup that has 3 different tops and is suppose to make the transition from bottle to sippy cup easy. So far I am a believer, you are one step away from only sippy cups! You have a huge fascination with climbing on things, not a fan of that. You get into literally everything and anything you are not suppose to, and when I catch you, you look up at my and smile and make it very hard for me to be super mad. You will learn or I will just have to put you in some type or playpen or something. You still follow your sister constantly and she usually tolerates you. Next month you are turning 1 and I am not sure why but this is so sad for me. I guess it is cause you are such a mama's boy and now that you are already walking and soon will be talking I think, wait?? You aren't gonna wanna lay with me anymore. But you know what, that cannot possibly be the case, because I am the mom and I make the rules, so no worries there ha! I love you dearly.
I am very excited because I am planning Jack's birthday party! Jessica came up with the idea of doing a football themed party, and I LOVE it. So.... get excited because it is going to be so much fun. I will post more about my ideas and what not on my next post. In the meantime Jack is 11 months and changing everyday, I am still a little freaked out.

Family Day

This Sunday it was absolutely beautiful outside, perfect weather. We decided to go up to Green Mountain on the nature trail, get some exercise (for me ha) and feed the fish. The kids (yes "kids" because I now realize I have 2 toddlers, which are not considered "babies" anymore) had a blast. I tried and tried to get a good family picture of me with the kids or even all 4 of us, but I swear it is like impossible at this stage. Here are a few pictures that I was able to capture :)

Jack took a little nap

seriously, how sweet is this picture?
My 19th attempt at a picture of my with the kids. I think Addie Jane was getting a little tired of it, obviously.
Ador
Looking at all the pictures
We got home and had some Oreos.

Road the tricycle around in "Dada Bear's" hat
And then I got a kiss!

Such a blessed day.

Favorite things

These are my favorite colors for the Fall/Winter season that is coming up! My personal fav is Cuckoo for this Color. (bottom right). I have already mentioned that I am into blues and greens this year but this color is the winner.

I just ordered this necklace off Etsy at http://www.etsy.com/shop/buysomelove. And being a big Alabama fan I am super excited to have it during football season. I think it is simple enough to wear everyday too, which I love. It is hard sometimes getting ready with the two babies to be able to accessorize the way I would like. This is cute, simple, and easy and I am a big fan.

OK...Lastly I love layering. I have been excited about the cold weather, not only because down in Alabama it is 100+ outside and miserable, but also because I can wear all my cute cardigans and scarfs! Aw.
Oh and check out this website great clothes and what not and CHEAP http://www.modcloth.com

Two nuggets and a Big Mack

Love my new blog title that my 3 awesome sister-in-laws came up with!

I call my kids nuggets. Why, you ask? It really started with Jack. My cousin Haley came to see me in the hospital about 2 seconds after I had Jack, and the nurse brought him out all swaddled up and Haley said, "omg, he looks just like a chicken nugget!" He really did! Anyways, ever since then I have always called them both nuggets.

And the Big Mack come from my dog Mack, who is a Boxer-American Bulldog mix. He is big part of our family, we love him.

"Two Nuggets and a Big Mack" It totally fits :)

Roll TIde

Sorry no time to post but here are some great pictures from the Bama game yesterday! ROLL TIDE!

Ugh, yea....we can't ever get a good picture of all 4 of us, oh well we tried!! (my hair looks crazy but the humidity was out of control!)
How cute is she?!
Jack was obviously clapping for Alabama!
Jack and "Jerry-Lu"

Jack pulling Jeremiah's ear off, ha. In Jack's defense Jeremiah isn't an Alabama fan just yet, so I think Jack was just trying to prove a point, that Alabama is better. :)

Check out that gap!
Jessica and baby D (he is huge!!)
Anna made this for Addie Jane, how sweet!!

Roll Tide!!!!!

BAYcation (WARNING: Picture overload)

Me and Lauren (bad angle ha)

Lauren surfing, she did awesome!
All the flounder we caught!
Lauren's first flounder
Gorgeous

Phillips even made a rope swing
ME!
Going through the canals to a friends house
I want this....
Me and J
The back"yard"
How neat is this?!
Love it!
Paradise! Chuck(the guy's house we stayed at) made this bar with things he found around the river! Isn't that awesome!?

This weekend I went on vacation with my husband for his birthday. My great friend Lauren that I have known since elementary school and her boyfriend Phillips invited us to Mississippi to visit Phillips' family for the holiday weekend. We weren't exactly sure what we were getting into, but very pleasantly surprised. Phillips' explained the river/bay with these beautiful houses as "camps". So obviously I was thinking camps, like maybe trailers, tents, or RVs. I was very wrong. Everything there was amazing and gorgeous. Beautiful homes with great views and boats everywhere. I had never been to Mississippi before and now I can't wait for the chance to go again. We road around in the boat and went surfing ha (from the back of the boat), ate way too much, played around at the sand bars and even made a stop at the casino. I only had 5 cents so Lauren gave me the rest and I pushed a button and boom I won 20.00$! I was excited but I stopped right there! We went "floundering" where you have a spear thing called a "gig" and basically just walk really slowing on the sand bar (in the dark mind you) and keep your eye out for the flounders that cover themselves in sand. Jentry, Lauren, and I all "gigged" one! It was so fun! The trip was awesome and we were blessed to be able to go! Thank you to my wonderful in-laws for taking care of the babies this weekend and giving us this time together.

Playroom Adventures

So happy to be playing with his big sis!
He has been into licking people...kinda strange but he can get away with anything ;)
Addie Jane pretend feeding Jack, which Jack was confused about because he thought he was getting real bites. Opps. He got kinda mad after that.
This is Addie Jane's fake smile..I always tell her she looks like a little chipmunk. No upper lip whatsoever

Getting ready for nap time
Obviously they are very musically talented.
Love me some nugget laughs ha!
