9 months, When did that happen!?

OK...I know I am behind big time, but I have had a lot going on in the past couple of weeks. Jack is 9 months and I honestly do not know where the time went. He is a different baby everyday, especially since Jentry and I went on vacation this weekend by ourselves (AH!) from Friday until Sunday. It was rough being away from them but much needed for us. We went camping. It was the perfect vacation no cell phone, no T.V., no computers, just the great outdoors, and a freezing cold river. Anyways my point was, Jack and Addie Jane both seemed to change tremendously just in 2 days.

OK, Jack you are pretty much into EVERYTHING. I love you, but yes you are very fast on your knees and just as fast walking along the side of the wall or furniture, and because of this you are growing up faster than I can baby proof our house, again. You can crawl, still a little lopsided but you can get where you need to go in no time. You can stand up for 5-10 seconds by yourself, and I imagine you will be walking in a month or so. You go the Dr. for your 9 month check up next week, but you are wearing 12-18 or 18-24 month clothes and you probably weight about 25 pounds. Your hair is growing like crazy, it is so adorable. You look like a little Gerber Baby. You are talking a lot, to be honest I am not sure what you are saying but I know it is cute. You say "Dada" but never "Momma" and let me just say, that is NOT cool..at all. You are so a Mommas boy, but I know you want to say it, you just aren't quite there yet. You love green beans, you are learning to pick them up one by one and you are going a fantastic job on chewing. You love baby goldfish and pineapple juice. I know that is kind of random but, your eyes light up and your hands start waving every time I bust out those goldfish. You are doing great (much better than I had anticipated) on hand and eye coordination too. You love to roll the ball back and forth with me. You have the best laugh. You love the pool and the swing. You love naked time just like your big sister. Pretty much you are perfect and strong as anything. Addie Jane beats you up right now but just wait a few months, you guys will be even :)

so much has changed

Ok...so much has changed in the last week. For one, I am an Aunt again YAY! I have the 2 most precious nephews in the whole world Jeremiah (http://sheetrockandlullabies.blogspot.com/) and Deacon (born July 9, 2010 7.4 pounds 19 inches long http://tuckandrolls.blogspot.com/). I am truly blessed to be part of such a wonderful family. Deacon came two weeks early and is just perfect. We are so happy for John and Jessica at this time in their life, and excited to see what happens next. Being a parent is amazing gift from God, Congrats John and Jec! I will be updating pictures of the little nugget ASAP.
On to other somewhat great news.... ha. Jack out of nowhere started to crawl. It really is great news I was just joking. On Tuesday, Addie Jane and I went to the car for no lie 45 seconds to get her flip flops (that she is freaking obsessed with) and when we came back inside, Jack was in the playroom (about 10 feet away from where I left him) ....I was like "umm what??" So, now we are baby proofing again and watching my little nugget follow me everywhere! He is much happier now. Funny thing is though, he keeps one leg straight so....it is kind of a lop-sided crawl. Don't let that fool you he can still go pretty fast! Very proud mommy.

Ok...please note that we did cut his hair above his ear, I really don't know what that was about!

Anyone need a dog?

Birthday girl showing off her stuff!

OK! How FUNNY is this?? After Mary Ella's birthday party Addie Jane, Mary Ella, Charlie, and Braxton went "swimming" in this little pool that Amy and Robin (M.E'.s gparents) got her for her birthday, along with about 8 dogs! We had Persy, Bell, Annie May, Ruby, Jack, Stella, Olie, and Lucy. We were still missing Sam and Burford for most of the festivities! So funny!

Couple Things....

OK.... this is not really a fun post at all, BUT I really want to be able to remember a couple things that I am obsessed with at this particular point in my life. I have had the same friends pretty much all my life, and this weekend we all got together and were talking about all these things we loved in middle/high school and it just made me think about all things I am enjoying right now. Anyways, my memory isn't gone and I am not old by any means, but with 2 young kids, a dog, and a job (even part-time) my mind just runs 90 miles an hour and I have become extremely forgetful, SO here it is..... I am a terrible obsessed with TV shows on Bravo including: Housewives of New Jersey, New York, and Orange County, and I am sure soon I will love the DC housewives as well. I love Top Chef. I guess I have become quite the reality TV junkie, not cool. Its not all reality TV though I also love summer shows on USA: Burn Notice, Royal Pains, Pysch, and White Collar. Basically are DVR is filling up quite fast. And I like TWITTER...really? Yep, that's right I love it, check it constantly. I heard a quote the other day that says "Facebook is for the people you went to high school with, and Twitter is for the people you wish you went to high school with." So, basically with Twitter you can keep up with all your favorite celebrities or in my case, Housewives. Ha. I still love Twilight, and I don't think that will change. I know its just a fad right now but honestly the movies are little out there, but I really enjoy them. I love my big gold chunky watch, like LOVE IT. I wear it everyday no matter what, I feel naked without it. I love the magazine Real Simple it is just filled with all kinds of great ideas for your house and food. I just painted my nails blue, in the spirit of 4th of July, and I actually really like it, its cute and edgy at the same time. I love having extremely long hair, even though I only wear it down about once a month. I want to be able to wear rompers (or jumpers as I call them, which I am aware is not right) but I just don't think my short stumpy legs would look normal. My favorite food is still spicy beef salad from Surin of Thailand and has been for 3 years now. Oh, and I wear a braid in my hair like everyday, just in the front because it keeps my bangs out of my face. But I have a feeling down the road I am going to think liking these things was ridiculous but we can just wait and see.

OK, on a different note Jack is crawling pretty good. For some reason he keeps one leg straight so his balance is kind of off but he can get around. I don't have the camera cord for my computer but I have the best pictures from the past weekend and I am just dying to upload them! So VERY SOON THEY WILL BE UP!

Funny story, as we all know Jack has been difficult at times, just because he likes to be held and I really can't do that, would love to but I have Addie Jane and house work that needs to get done. Well, I was in the kitchen getting Addie Jane a drink when I come back into the living room and she is squated down pointing at baby Jack very serious and saying, "I sorry I just can't hold you all the time, ughh annoying!" I just about fell over laughing so hard. Anyways, I just thought that was a funny story I would share.
