What's new with us!
Jack will be 7 months tomorrow and honestly I know everyone says it goes by too fast, but WOW it really does! Not too much has changed since 6 months, expect I think he has put on a couple of extra pounds, ha. Right now, he is so sweet, always talking in his little baby voice and smiling at you. It melts my heart every time I come home and he sees me and smiles ear to ear. He is sitting up great my himself and he rocking back in forth on his hands and knees, thinking about crawling but no real movement has been made. I think he tried more at 5 months to crawl than he does now, oh well. He can stand up against things, like the ottoman and the table by himself for about a minute. His hair is coming in more and more everyday, blond in the back but a little darker up top. His eyes are dark brownish-green color, I always loved dark eyes. He is very content in one place but only for 30 minutes at a time, then we gotta switch it up, he likes new things. He is still eating great, even loving vegetables. He eats Step 2 foods by Gerber, probably eats about 3-5 containers a day and drinking at least 6 ounces of milk at a time. Oh, how boys are so different. Right now he will sleep through the night until about 5:30, 3 days a week. The rest of the time he is still waking up to take a quick bottle at 4:00A.M. No biggie though, I am use to it by now. Everyday is different, but he still such a happy baby. I love watching him grow and learn new things. He is an absolute blessing.
Addie Jane on the other hand is still having a hard time sleeping through the night. We don't know what it is, she could not nap all day and go to bed at 9:00 and still wake up at 2:00AM. Even when she eats a lot for dinner, we still get the 2:00AM wake up calls "Mama, Dada Bear..." my doctor said not to be too concerned about it. She usually take about an hour nap between 12:00 and 2:00 depending on the day. She loves Jack so much, everything about him gets her excited. I took a video yesterday of Addie Jane trying to teach Jack to crawl. She said, "No JACK! move your knee, like this!" Then she looked at me and said, "Jack is too tubby to crawl, maybe later." Ha, please keep in mind that she is 2 years old so she can't say her "R's" great, which makes everything she says even more sweet. Lately, Addie Jane has been telling me exactly what she wants to wear. She will say "um, dress "D" and Alex," which now, of course, I understand means the dress that my brother Daniel, and his girlfriend Alex gave to Addie Jane for her birthday this year. At first I wasn't exactly sure what that meant, until she pulled that dress out of her closet, and then it clicked. I feel like for a 2 year old she can remember a lot. She sings constantly, remembering songs she has heard maybe once or twice. She loves her pink crocs my mom bought her about a month ago, but every time someone compliments or says anything about them, she says, "yea, purple ones too big, oh well, pink ones pretty." Ha. Her favorite activities right now are: going on walks with Paige and me in the morning, running sprints with Jent in the backyard, helping "cook outside", swinging, driving her car, helping with yard work, coloring, reading book, and helping with Jack. It seems like she talks more and more everyday and is still constantly changing. I love when I get home from work and she tells me about her day, and what she did and who she saw, she evens goes on to tell me what Jack did, if he cried or not, if he was happy, etc. Everyday gets more fun, and exciting.
As for Jentry and I, we have been really busy, which can be expected with 2 babies. Jentry starts back to school in June, which is going to be wonderful. He will be home a little later than usually but we still have the weekends to do fun things, like go to the pool and what not. As for me, I am doing Weight Watchers and in 5 weeks have already lost 17 pounds. I really like it, I thought at first it would be hard but its not, and it is very interesting. I can still pretty much eat everything I want, but I stay away from chips, because once I eat 1 chip I am going to finish the whole bag. I weigh in at Weight Watcher on Monday mornings at 11:00, which I think is a great time because it really helps you keep yourself motivated throughout the weekend. I still hope to loose about 20 more, but I am just taking my time so hopefully I can keep it off.

I love this picture, at my parent's house with my Dad and the babies. Addie Jane and Jack love when "Papa Jeff" gets home from work, they all get to sit outside in the"big chair" and read books. Wonderful.
This is from when my Mom, Addie Jane, and I went to Atlanta a few weeks ago. I love this picture so much. 1.) My hair looks long, YAY and 2.) Everyone is smiling and is actually looking at the camera. It is sooo hard to get a picture with all 3 of us looking and not blinking, especially with Addie Jane. I am very thankful my cousin Haley was there with her AWESOME camera to take this picture.
A visit from their great-grandparents
My grandparents from Texas got to come and visit the little nuggets a couple weeks ago. They had so much fun. The weather wasn't great that weekend but we made the most of the time we had watching movies and playing all day long, and did I mention we had some great food. My mom cooked some awesome meals, she is amazing at everything, jealous! Monday, of course, I had to work all day but my Mom, Dad, and Grandparents got to take Addie Jane and Jack to the Botanical Gardens. They let Addie Jane get into nothing but a diaper and play in the water and run around, oh well, she is just a kid and it looks like she had fun. Addie Jane came home talking about all the turtles they saw and what they got to eat for lunch that day, she loved every minute of it. Addie Jane warmed up to Grandma (Mimi) fast but Grandpa it look a couple of days! Never scared of him by any means, but just didn't know if she wanted him to hold her just yet. But once Addie Jane saw he had pictures on his computer they were best buds. They set and looked at all kinds of pictures. So adorable.
How lucky am I to get to wake up to these smiling nuggets everyday!

Check ups
WOW! Last Tuesday we went for the babies doctor appointments. They both had to get shots but did great! Addie Jane got a Popsicle and a little rubber ducky after her shots, so she was good. Addie Jane weighed in at 30.6 pounds in the 86 percentile, looking perfect. Then the doctor look at me and said that Addie Jane grew 6 inches (in just a year)!!! She has always been in the 30-50 percentile for height and she is now 36 inches and she is in the 90 percentile, isn't that crazy? Maybe she doesn't have my genes after all, being that I am only 5 foot. Dr. Stewart said she looked great!
Jack got a bottle right after his shots then we rocked for about an hour, so he was a happy camper. Jack is 20.6 pounds and 28 inches long (90 something percentile for both weight and height). Chunk. I mean really my 2 year old and my 6 month old are only 10 pounds apart, something about that just doesn't seem right to me, but oh well they both look great to me! So glad he is growing big, sitting up great by himself. He can't pull up on his own yet, but can hold onto the couch and stand up himself. He always wants to walk and hates to be on his tummy. I don't know if crawling will ever happen! ;) oh well! No rush on this end, 2 mobile babies might be a little crazy! They are perfect ahhh..... love them! I will upload picture this afternoon! My camera is still not working but I got some from my mom's computer so no worries there!

Addie Jane at 26 months! WOW
The child cracks me up constantly, always saying " Hey Mama Ash, what you doin?"She is learning sentences, using verbs and pronouns, and is actually speaking quite clearly. Every morning I hear her wake up, usually with Mack (our dog), and say "Good morning Buddy, hey buddy!" She can sing her "ABC's" and count to 12 perfectly, sometimes can get to 15 but usually misses 13. She sings all the time, and talks 24/7. She loves to play outside and sing. Last week I taught her the cheer that starts off, "2 bits 4 bits 6 bits a dollar....." she loves it and does it all the time!! Every Tuesday for the past year or so Melanie brings us lunch, usually Zaxbys Chick-fil-A, or Schlotzskys, and every Tuesday Addie Jane says, "Mel Mel tea? Bring lunch?" She has such a great memory. Melanie has 2 dogs and 2 cats and Addie Jane always asks about them. We have also been going walking on Tuesdays and Thursday with a friend of mine, Paige, and on those days she always ask me, "Paige coming? Go walking!" She knows Friday night she stays with Gran Janie and Boss, and know the days when she gets to go to her Mona's and play, while mommy has to go to work. When she comes home from staying with "Mona Vic"she tells me all about it, what they did that day, what baby Jack did, and all about the Dogs (Cash and Gracie). She can name a few letters when she sees them like, A, D, V, M, and E. Those she knows well, and we are working on the others. She is using her words great, saying things like "yes she did", "no he doesn't", "yes we are".... basically learning past and present tense. She loves going to Church but doesn't like going to the nursery unless Marley and Braelynn (her little friends that go to Church with us) are there. She feeds Jack his bottle and gives him toys. She always ask to hold him, and give them his "bites". Right now she loves to talk about Baby Sam (my cousin Haley's baby Due June 2nd) and Baby Deacon (my sister-in-law's baby Due July 23rd). She goes "hmm, come out please, come play with me!" Her facial expressions are one the most impressive things about her. They crack me up! All and all she is amazing and we are so thankful for her. Looking forward to summer time and playing in the pool!
