Princess for a day

Yesterday Betsy and I took Addie Jane and Mary Ella to a store in Florence for a princess tea party. They had a blast! First, they had a little tea party with real china and pink lemonade. Then we headed downstairs for their up-do, manicure, and make up. Addie Jane picked gold nail polish, of course, gold is her absolute favorite color. They went over to pick out princess outfits, Addie Jane picked cinderella and Mary Ella picked Jasmine. They both looked perfect. We had such a great time and more importantly the girls had fun! They were princesses for a day and loved every minute of it!

Addie Jane's dance recital

Last Thursday Addie Jane had her first dance recital. If you know Addie Jane you know she can be shy and hardly ever performs on command. Well, to say the least she surprised all of us for sure! There was probably close to 400 people in the audience which would be scary for me, and she danced just perfectly the whole time! We were so proud it literally brought tears to my eyes. She started her dance classes in August and it has been amazing to see her self confidence go up through these last few months. She had some great teachers!! We are so proud of her!! We had a great time!!
