My camera is not working....

I realize that I haven't not posted in a while and its because I am not a great writer and I really just like to post pictures ha ha. Well, two things have happen in the past week, one being my camera broke, and two, baby Jack is thinking about crawling. I call it army crawling, when is laying on his tummy he will use his elbows and forearms instead of his knees to try move. We are very proud of him, I was not expecting him to try anything this early. Addie Jane was crawling great by 6 months or so, but I have learned not to compare, boys are different, and plus baby Jack is WAY bigger than Addie Jane was at this age, even though they left the hospital at the same weight, 7lbs. I love it though. Not to worry I am getting my camera fixed very soon and we will be taking lots and lots of pictures!

MAJOR milestone

OK now, I know some kids will sleep until 7,8, or even 9 but if you are in my family no one ever sleeps past 6:30 (I am thrilled when I get to sleep until 6:30 by the way). My cousin Haley and her little girl, Mary Ella who is 4 months younger than Addie Jane will sleep until 11:30 and finally Haley just has to go wake her up!! Ugh, living the dream is what I call that! Well, this morning it happened...after 2 years with Addie Jane and almost 5 months with Jack we all slept until 8:15!!!! Amazing. I woke up and thought the time changed again. And just so I am clear Jack went to bed about 8 and Addie Jane about 10 (which for Addie Jane that is a little later than normal) but anyhow I am still happy. Also, Jack slept from 8 until 4:30, took a bottle and went right back to sleep. I am so proud of him, getting big and making my life SO much easier. Jack has been a different baby in the past week..... barely crying, smiling all the time, learning to laugh, and even getting a little bit of hair on his bald head. I am thrilled, although my babies are growing up they are getting more fun everyday!

Jentry bought Addie Jane this little crown, jewelry get up at Walgreen's the other night. We gave it to her today and she immediately put it on and said,"camera, pictures?" Yes, that's right she asked us to take her picture in her "princess clothes." What are we going to do with her :)?

James Taylor Campbell

I received this email (shown below) on Sunday morning from my good friend Cynthia saying our friend Alison and her husband Jason lost their baby boy, James Taylor Campbell. He was such a fighter, born 1 lb and 9oz on Janurary 11th. This is an extremely hard time for Alison and Jason, and their families. We know that God has a plan for them that we cannot possibly imagine. God is SO good and He hears when His people call His name. Please keep them in your prayers and let others know to pray for them. This experience will forever change Alison and Jason and they need all the prayers they can get to overcome something this tragic. Lord open the eyes of our heart, I want to see you.


it is with a heavy heart that i write this email. precious baby james left the loving arms of his mother and was welcomed home tonight by the loving arms of his heavenly Father. he has no more pain or suffering. his broken little body is now a beautiful perfect body! God will we praise you in this storm! the book of james starts with "james, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ", and what a servant of Christ this little baby was! he did so much to glorify the kingdom...more than we will ever know! and while it is a happy day for baby james it is a tragic day for alison, jason, and their families. they are completely broken. please do not stop your prayers! they need them now more than ever! it is going to take God to get them through this! i can't imagine the pain they are in and will be in for days/weeks/months to come. please cry out on behalf of alison and jason! y'all have been wonderful! WE LIFT OUR HANDS AND PRAISE THE GOD WHO WAS AND IS AND IS TO COME!! BLESSED BE YOUR NAME!!!

(Just a side note...Jack ate an entire thing of banana baby food this morning in literally 5 min. Yea my doctor told me Monday that he might eat 1 throughout the day.... not sure what this means but I am kinda thinking that if he gets any heavier before he crawls or walks I am not going to be happy ha ha. My back already hurts!)

Jack 4 month check up

WOW. I can't believe Jack is already 4 months, it has flown by. We went his 4 month check up this morning, and he weighs 16lbs 10 oz, he is in 90 percentile for weight. He is 26 inches long, 95 percentile for height. Looking pretty good! The doctor said he doing wonderful. He is laughing and talking so much lately. Jack LOVES to be naked just in his diaper and of course at the doctor they just lay there naked on the table forever so Jack was in heaven. I have never seen Jack smile and laugh so much. It was so sweet. I tried to explain to Dr. Stewart that he has been pretty fussy but of course he didn't believe. Jack had to get three shots today. Poor baby, he was a trooper and just cried for a couple minutes. All in all he looks great and is growing like crazy. I can't imagine what he is going to look like this summer!
