6 months

Six months already, really? OK, well right now you are learning to sit up by yourself and doing GREAT! You fall over a little bit but usually do very well. You smile all the time. You giggle at everything I do and I love that you actually think I am funny. You got your first tooth today on the bottom left, yay! I feel like just this week you have got twice as much hair than you had last week. Its a strawberry blond color just like Addie Jane had when she was younger. I think it will turn blond this summer but who knows!? You love you jumper and you move all the time. You eat about 3-5 servings of baby food a day, sometimes you have 2 servings just at one sitting! You LOVE bananas and pears, but you will eat anything. You drink 6-8 ounces at a time, and you haven't been spitting up much at all anymore, finally that stage is over ha! At night you have been getting a lot better usually going to bed around 8 and waking up about 4 AM. I give you a bottle and you sleep until 7ish, some days even 8:00 :) You weigh about 21-22 pounds, on my scale, but we go the doctor in a couple of weeks to know for sure. I do not know how long you are exactly but you seem a lot longer than Addie Jane was, obviously. Right now you are wearing mostly 9-12 month clothes, some 6-9 months outfits will fit but the onesies are a little short. So you are growing wonderfully. You have been getting a little fussy because you can't suck on your toes anymore. You got a little chunky and can't quite get that leg over that tummy anymore ha ha. Still no crawling or anything like that, but I am glad about that, I don't know how I feel about having to mobile babies running around here. So for now just sit up and smile at me and I will be perfectly happy. We love everything about you, the way you cry when we leave the room, and the way you smile so big as soon as we come back in, you are now the sweetest little baby nugget in the world!

It's the little things.....

When Addie Jane and I got home from Atlanta, Jentry had bought Addie Jane a little toy Rhino and Panda bear. He gave them to Addie Jane as soon as we got home and she was obsessed. She forgot all about the animals she had got at the aquarium and toys she had got when we were gone. So with kids it is the little things like $2.00 animals from Walgreen's, and a little gift from Dada Bear that means the most!

Addie Jane even shared with Jack, it was so sweet! She is doing awesome at sharing and even loves feeding Baby Jack his baby food and giving him his bottle. She is a great big sister. Thank you Dada Bear!

Best Friends

Yes, I am a slacker on the blog lately, but I am determined to update tons and tons today ha ha. These are a few pictures of Addie Jane and Mary Ella at the Atlanta Aquarium. My mom, Amy, Haley, and I took Addie Jane and Mary Ella to Atlanta for a spend the night trip. We went to Ikea and shopped Tuesday and Wednesday morning we went to the Atlanta Aquarium, which is amazing. I had so much fun, Addie Jane loved it, will be definitely be going again soon.

Easter

We had the best time Sunday afternoon, it was very hot, but gorgeous outside. After we got home, we took some family pictures, but baby Jack fell asleep on the way home, and I couldn't keep Jentry or Addie Jane in their church clothes much longer, so we never got a good family shot of all four of us :( oh well, maybe another weekend! After pictures, we ate lunch YUMMY, then Addie Jane and Charlie played, they always have so much fun together! We had a little Easter egg hunt with Addie Jane, Mary Ella, and Charlie. Addie Jane wasn't too interested, but Mary Ella seemed to like it, I think she kept looking inside for candy ha ha. Once the egg hunting died down we went to go feed the horses and Addie Jane got to drive the truck. Jack passed out again, so he missed out on going to see the horses. I don't think he cared much though. Here are some pictures from our wonderful day!

ahhhh I am finally updating!!

OK... YES! I am finally updating, no I didn't get my camera back or anything wonderful like that, but I basically stole my mom's camera, yah!! These are pictures I got from her camera, when she took Addie Jane and Jack to the petting zoo and the park! What a great "Mona" ha ha.

My camera is not working....

I realize that I haven't not posted in a while and its because I am not a great writer and I really just like to post pictures ha ha. Well, two things have happen in the past week, one being my camera broke, and two, baby Jack is thinking about crawling. I call it army crawling, when is laying on his tummy he will use his elbows and forearms instead of his knees to try move. We are very proud of him, I was not expecting him to try anything this early. Addie Jane was crawling great by 6 months or so, but I have learned not to compare, boys are different, and plus baby Jack is WAY bigger than Addie Jane was at this age, even though they left the hospital at the same weight, 7lbs. I love it though. Not to worry I am getting my camera fixed very soon and we will be taking lots and lots of pictures!

MAJOR milestone

OK now, I know some kids will sleep until 7,8, or even 9 but if you are in my family no one ever sleeps past 6:30 (I am thrilled when I get to sleep until 6:30 by the way). My cousin Haley and her little girl, Mary Ella who is 4 months younger than Addie Jane will sleep until 11:30 and finally Haley just has to go wake her up!! Ugh, living the dream is what I call that! Well, this morning it happened...after 2 years with Addie Jane and almost 5 months with Jack we all slept until 8:15!!!! Amazing. I woke up and thought the time changed again. And just so I am clear Jack went to bed about 8 and Addie Jane about 10 (which for Addie Jane that is a little later than normal) but anyhow I am still happy. Also, Jack slept from 8 until 4:30, took a bottle and went right back to sleep. I am so proud of him, getting big and making my life SO much easier. Jack has been a different baby in the past week..... barely crying, smiling all the time, learning to laugh, and even getting a little bit of hair on his bald head. I am thrilled, although my babies are growing up they are getting more fun everyday!
